Inequalities in Namibia : what happened to the socialist dream?

Detta är en Kandidat-uppsats från Institutionen för samhälls- och välfärdsstudier

Sammanfattning: Namibia is today the most unequal country in the world. It is 21 years since they gained independence, at that time the party that was and still are in power had the rhetoric of a socialist party. The divisions of the society are enormous, but to do a class analysis of the country is made difficult because of the ethnic divisions, which has its roots partly in the tribes that existed in the region before the colonialisation and partly in the apartheid regime.
