Sammanfattning: The project has been carried out in collaboration with SP Maskiner in Ljungby, which is a world leading supplier of harvester units, which is manufactured in Sweden. The task that the project team has been given from SP Maskiner is to develop a new improved model of the tilt frame for the harvester unit SP 661 LF. The report consists of parts of Fredy Olsson's principles and methods. By starting by examining the existing tilt frame and other frames on the market, the project team, with the help of brainstorming, was able to come up with five main suggestions. These were then weighed on the basis of the requirements and wishes set on the tilt frame, which resulted in the project group being able to prove that three of these were considered suitable. Based on these three suggestions, the Catia V5 created 3 3D models. The models were then inserted into SimSolid to undergo FEM analyzes. Then another weighting matrix was implemented, and then an appropriate final concept was chosen. The last concept meant that the highest tension in the tilt frame could be reduced by 17%. In order to present the chosen concept proposal in a presentable way, the project team chose to produce a rendered image of the tilt frame with help of Keyshot 9.
