Att öka cykelpendling med hjälp av mobility management och flexibla parkeringstal : En studie kring samverkan och dialog mellan byggherrar och kommun

Sammanfattning: Purpose: In the starting blocks for sustainable transport and innovative parking solu-tions is the concept "Mobility Management" where involved parties can affect their future customers to use more sustainable alternatives regarding green transports. Mo-bility Management takes up the initiatives for both short- and long-term goals related to parking solutions and sustainable transport. The study is focused on developers in Jönköping municipality and how their dialogue and communication work towards Jönköping municipality. The thesis ultimate goal is to highlight the problems in com-munication between developers and Jönköping municipality and also suggest how the municipality can work to promote bicycle commuting within the municipality. The aim is also to develop proposals on how the Jönköping municipality can improve their work with Mobility Management and flexible parking stole towards developers. Method: Applied methods of data collection is a combination of kvantitativa- and qualitative methods, specific document analysis and semi-structured interviews. Findings: The study shows big problems regarding the communication between Jön-köping municipality and the developers in the municipality. The lack of communica-tion results in failure of developing and applying mobility management and flexible parking stole. Implications: The study creates an opportunity for Jönköping municipality engage in a more open dialogue with Jönköping developers. This to increase the interest and work on mobility management. The essay shows where developers in Jönköping and Jönköping municipality are concerning questions related to mobility management and how they can work together to develop the concept in Jönköping municipality. Limitations: The essay will be limited to how the relationship between the munici-pality and private builders affect the overall bicycle use in Jönköping. The report will not study design and planning of cycle paths. The essay will not regard to monitoring or make analysis of hazardous substances.
