Varför slutar mäklare? : En kvalitativ studie i orsaker till varför mäklare väljer att säga upp sig

Sammanfattning: Reasons why brokers choose to terminate have been investigated by Lee et al. (2014) and Love et al. (2011). However, we experience an information gap because all the studies we have learned were carried out on brokers who were still active. This essay contains reasons why Swedish brokers choose to quit and the study has been completed on brokers who have actually terminated their employment. The study is based on a qualitative survey where we interviewed brokers by telephone regarding reasons why they chose to quit. We also present the pattern we can see between the different reasons that have been shown during the course of the study. It will also be reported what previous studies have come up with and comparisons between this study and those previously done. The result of this study shows that, for example, payroll systems, stress, conflicts between work and privacy and burnout all contribute to brokers choosing to terminate their positions. In addition, it has been found that one of these causes, commission pay, seems to be the foundation of all of our respondents' redundancies.
