”Sex det er når du boller” Normer omkring køn og seksualitet i seksualundervisning
Sammanfattning: The aim of this study is to examine norms about gender and sexuality, expressed and reproduced in relation between young people based on sex education in the danish primary school. By norm-critical approach the aim is to show how visability can challenge the binary idea of gender together with heteronormativity and open up to alternative views of gender and sexuality. The main empirical material consists of two qualitative interviews with a group of five students in secondary school at the age of 16-17 years. Together with this comes 10 texts of memory work, written by the students. Theoretically the study is based on a queerfeminist perspective seeing gender and sexuality as socially constructed by discourses, power and norms. The analysis shows how the discourses among students, based on their sex education, rank perceptions of gender and sexuality within the binary and heteronormative. Furthermore the analysis shows how visability of norms can open up to new reflections and discussions of hegemonic notions of gender and sexuality.
