Vad har skrivits om hur konflikter mellan elever med grund i islamofobi och antisemitism behandlas i religionskunskap?

Sammanfattning: The aim of this essay is to answer the following question: What has been written about how conflicts between pupils with a focal point on Islamophobia and anti-Semitism are being treated in religious education? The answer will be based on earlier literature and research that has been done based on the subject. Moreover, Islamophobia and anti-Semitism has been in focus the past years a lot in our daily lives (with our daily lives I include everything from our jobs, school, media and more). It is something we cannot really avoid and it effects pupils in school every day. Therefore, teachers must know how to handle religious conflicts related to Islamophobia and anti-Semitism when they occur in school. Furthermore, we have to develop pupils’ knowledge, but also make them look into many different aspects so that they can conclude different information based on many different perspectives and not only one. Firstly, I will write two short definitions. The first definition will be about Islamophobia and the second one will be about anti-Semitism. Secondly, I will write on how pupils view religion as a school subject to know if the conflicts occur already there. Lastly, there will also be a part on how teachers can counteract religious conflicts. The important thing to notice here is that everything will be based on earlier literature and research. Moreover, there is a methodological part in the beginning that includes a research process that is used to find relevant literature and research connected to the question that is to be answered.
