Sammanfattning: There is no legisation against sexist advertisement in Sweden today. The Swedish Market Court has decided that this type of advertisement does not fall under the scope of MFL. Today, this area is regulated by RO’s secretariat. Sexist advertisement has been discussed whether it should be banned by law. Several investigations have been added over the years and the results has emerged that it is impossible to legislate on the basis of technical and legal obstacles. Sexist advertisement is present everywhere, for example in television, advertising, ads. We are confronted daily by the sexist advertisement and the fact that gender discrimination is not yet regulated by law, it is a very big problem. Keywords: Sexist advertisement, marketing.
