Sammanfattning: The purpose of this essay is to analyze, through a social-historical / quantitative approach, Jewish marriage patterns andits changes in the Stockholm Mosaic Assembly during the years 1895-1912. The hypothesis of this essay was that themixed marriages and the number of marriages entered have increased throughout the whole investigation period, whileit is also expected that the Eastern Jewish group has married endogenously to a much greater extent, which has meantthat the Jewish group has not been threatened by a total assimilation. The results of this essay has shown that there hasbeen a clear increase in the number of mixed marriages, especially during the years 1907 to 1912 and especially when itcomes to the Jews of western roots and mainly the Swedish inhabitants. This indicates a clear assimilation among theWestern jews. While the Eastern Jews (Russian born among others) in the higher part married within their ethnic andreligious group. New knowledge that this paper has come up with is that it was not at all unusual during the entireinvestigation period that Jewish women married Christian men, especially during the second period from 1902 to 1908,of thirty entered marriages it was the man who was the Christian part in all of the cases. This reflects the Jewishwoman's group's integration and assimilation into society. Except for this new foundings, the study is well in keepingwith the previous research on Jewish marriage patterns in the city of Sundsvall, and the jewish historical research as awhole.
