Jobb- och utvecklingsgarantin- en garanti för vad? : En kvalitativ studie av sex deltagares erfarenheter av Jobb- och utvecklingsgarantin utifrån deras egna berättelser

Supervisor: Johan Cronehed Assesor: Lars Harrysson Abstract The purpose of this study was to illuminate participants of the Swedish labor market program (Sw. Jobb- och utvecklingsgarantin (JOB) experiences of and perspectives on the program. To strengthen the understanding of the study, we used the concepts of norms and normality. The empirical data consisted of six qualitative interviews with participants from JOB. The interviews were presented as individual narrative stories. From the study results we were able to distinguish three themes that all the participants of the interviews highlighted in their stories. The participants stressed a/ the importance of an employment and the need to have a job, b/ their economic vulnerability and c/ increased contact and understanding from their advisers from the Swedish employment agency (Sw.
