Utrymningsskyltar - Vilka faktorer påverkar om en utrymningsskylt är lätt att uppfatta eller ej?

Sammanfattning: A literature study, where factors affecting the ability to perceive an exit sign, was done. The conclusions showed a great need of experiments and the contrast between the sign and surrounding luminance were chosen to be studied in different environments. Five experiment locations with different contrast ratios were used, two in a complex environment and the other three in a less complex environment. The persons who participated in the experiments answered questions concerning evacuation and the design of exit signs. The results show that a higher contrast ratio in a complex environment contributes to an increased ability to perceive an exit sign. It also shows that factors as sign location affects the ability to perceive an exit sign.
