Sammanfattning: The focus of this thesis is to examine if there is a possible speculation bubble in the housing market in Sweden and if the COVID-19 Pandemic has increased the risk for such a bubble. We examine this through a survey that has been shared over social media. We did this to engage regular people to answer questions about the housing market to see if there was an upward trend. The results of this survey shows that out of 110 respondents a 100 believe that the prices within the housing market will keep rising for the upcoming three years. This data was later compared to previous research and studies from Hans Lind, Shiller & Case and other economic theory to determine and discuss if the fundamental factors shared the same view of the housing market as the respondents. The conclusion derives into the fundamental factors denying the hypothesis of an ongoing price bubble in the housing market. However, they don't deny the possibilities of local speculation bubbles.
