Sammanfattning: This thesis is about an energy efficiency improvement of Örebrogatan 2 in Kv. Hallonet that Helsingborgshem owns and manages. By giving suggestions for different actions to get a reduced energy consumption on the today energy-wasteful building is the hope that the work and the conclusions can be used for a future renovation of the building. Whilst Sweden is growing with many new buildings, there are still many older buildings that are untouched since they were built, which makes many of the buildings today still have far too high energy consumption. The solution to this problem is to energy improve those buildings by both larger and smaller measures. The results are based on literature studies, visits of the building and meetings with proficient people in energy efficiency. Energy- and cost calculations and simulations have been made by hand calculations and with the energy calculation program VIP-Energy and the cost calculation program Wikells Sektionsdata. The conclusions after the work are that there are many energy-improving measures for the building. All contribute to lower energy consumption but by different levels. Another difference is the price for these renovations, as it separates over 2 million SEK between the cheapest and the most expensive measure.
