Sverigedemokraternas representation i Landskrona och Lidköpings kommun- en jämförande studie utifrån tre variabler

Sammanfattning: The purpose of this essay is to compare Landskrona Kommun and Lidköping Kommun based on three different aspects: the percentage of residents born abroad, unemployment and also the percentage with post-secondary education. The aim is also to see if these three aspects are factors that contributed to the fact that the proportion of supporters of the Sweden Democrats is high in Landskrona Kommun but low in Lidköping Kommun. I also have as an ambition to see if this essay proves my hypothesis to be correct. The hypothesis being that communities with a low percentage of post-secondary educated residents, greater unemployment and with a higher percentage of residents born abroad, have a higher proportion of supporters of the Sweden Democrats. The essay begins with a short description of the history of the Sweden Democrats and continues on to mention research and theories that were of great help in the process of the analysis. Based on the observation of statistics that were brought up in the analysis section, it seems that my hypothesis was proven to be correct in this case. The proportion of Sweden Democrats supporters being high in Landskrona and low in Lidköping could have been affected by the factors mentioned above.
