I huvudet på en professionell - en kvalitativ vinjettstudie om hur nyutexaminerade socionomer uttrycker professionellt förhållningssätt i möte med klienter

Sammanfattning: The purpose of this essay was to investigate and gain a deeper understanding of how newly graduated social workers express professional approach in the meeting with clients. Our questions were how recent graduates define professional approach? How do newly graduated socialworkers experience that education and practical experience have contributed to their development of professional approach? What characteristics do newly graduated socialworkers consider to be the most important for the development of a professional approach? The study is of a qualitative nature and is carried out with six newly graduated social workers, who have been interviewed. One conclusion was that both practical and theoretical education are needed for the development of a professional approach. Another conclusion was that newly graduated social workers had difficulty defining professional approach and the final conclusion was that newly graduated social workers express several factors that are important for the development of a professional approach.
