Sammanfattning: The purpose of this study is to show how educators in preschool teach children about the diet’s importance for health. We have used a quantitative method in the form of a questionnaire to get answers to our research questions. The questionnaire consisted of mostly closed questions and was answered by 206 educators in Swedish preschools. The survey was distributed via e-mail to educators in two swedish municipalities and via groups on Facebook for teachers and preschool teachers. We investigate the possible influence of various factors on teaching and in this way the framework factor theory permeates our entire work. The result shows that teaching about the diet´s importance for health in preschool may be influenced on the basis of constitutional, organizational and physical frameworks. The conclusion is that the participants of the study say that they teach more about the importance of diet for the body's functions than they do about the nutritional content of diet. Teaching also takes place to a greater extent if the educators have received further education in the subject.
