Detta är en Master-uppsats från Lunds universitet/Institutionen för psykologi

Sammanfattning: The purpose of this essay is to investigate if children to parents who separated, and were living in joint physical custody have maintained or developed routines and rituals. 10 young adults are interviewed, 4 female and 6 male. The analysis is thematic and with a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The study shows that meeting points appear to be important in maintaining routines and rituals when living in joint physical custody. The study indicates that parents are likely to encourage and support their children within their hobbies, but do not to a similar extent seem to help children to maintain peer relationships. From the study we can see that baccalaureate is a including ritual. Children who live in joint custody have given us an increased understanding that well-being is related to parents ability to cooperate.
