BRIBES WITHIN THE POLICE AUTHORITY IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Sammanfattning: This thesis aims to gain a broader understanding of how bribes are used and made when applying for a passport, ID document and driving license. I use qualitative methods, more specifically interviews. To answer how bribes are used and made when applying for a passport, ID document and driving license, thirteen interviews have been conducted with people in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The results show that bribery is widespread and is not necessarily seen as a problem but rather part of the process.
