Sammanfattning: In Sweden it was decided by the Government and the Parliament that all people who are able to and want to participate in higher education should be able to do so. Higher education can through advances in technology be made available via web-based long-distance education. It's a possibility for those who work while studying, students with children, Swedish citizens who live outside of Sweden, etecetera. But the authors of this study began to wonder how this availability would work for people with special needs in web-based distance education. The overall aim of the Bachelor thesis is to increase awareness on the perspective of accessibility at the higher level of net-based distance learning, how students with hidden disabilities, tutors/teachers and coordinators at college or university experience their knowledge of accessibility. The Bachelor's thesis is performed within the subject of pedagogy and the study has a hermeneutic research approach. In order to gain more knowledge, interviews were carried out with three different groups: coordinators at the college or university, tutors/teachers and students. The results obtained in the study were that Swedish colleges/universities are accessible to all students with or without disabilities, so that they will be able to carry through and get degrees in the various courses and programs on the network based distance education at higher level of study. The authors also found that students and tutors/teachers have a desire for a more open approach to hidden disabilities. In addition, it appeared that there was a desire for greater expertise on accessibility. Partly thorough science, partly by adding additional resources in the classroom.
