Sammanfattning: The purpose of this thesis is to understand to what extent the principles of bootstrapping, effectuation and scrum are implementedtogether in a start-up and how do they relate to the uncertainty.By conducting a qualitative research method, the data were collected through semi-structured interviews and introspection. The findings of this study showed that two aggregated dimensions emerged –Internal Uncertainty and External Uncertainty. The empirical investigation showed that the mentioned principles, while utilized separately, cannot guarantee clear guidance in the entrepreneurship. However, a new approachoffered by the thesis, which will contribute to Innovation and Design area, is to combine the bootstrapping, effectuation and scrum principles. Doing so, an entrepreneur’s possibilities to hunt the roller-coaster of uncertainties in a start-up phase and eliminate them dramatically increases.
