Hur ska barnkören låta? : Erfarna körledare berättar om röstanvändning och repertoarval

Sammanfattning: Title: How should children´s choirs sound? Experienced children´s choir leaders tell us about the use of voice and their choice of repertoire. The purpose of this study is to examine what five different choir leaders and one composer in the field of children´s choirs tell us about the use of voice and choice of repertoire in the activities they lead. Representatives from music classes, children´s choirs in volontary music schools and churches and an established composer of children's music have during qualitative interviews told me about their experiences. The result shows that in the field of children and singing there are several common views regarding children's voices, but that the choice of repertoire is more often chosen to suit the personal taste of the leader. Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka vad fem olika körledare och en kompositör inom området barnkör berättar om röstanvändning och repertoarval i den verksamhet de leder. Representanter från både musikklasser, barnkör i kulturskola och kyrka samt en verksam kompositör inom området barnmusik har genom kvalitativa intervjuer berättat om sina erfarenheter. Resultatet visar att det bland ledare inom området barn och sång finns flera gemensamma åsikter vad det gäller barnrösten men att repertoarvalet mer är anpassat efter ledarens smak och tycke.
