Sammanfattning: The purpose of the study is to examine the attitudes towards criminal records, presented in Flashback in order to gain greater knowledge and understanding of how the criminal record can affect (re)integration. The material consists of posts from the forum Flashback with content about how the criminal record can affect an individual's opportunities in the society and to integrate. The method performed at study was of a qualitative approach with a focus on content analysis. With the support of theories such as Wenneberg's Social Constructivism, Goffman's Stigma and Tilly's persistent inequality, the posts were processed and analyzed. The result of the analysis shows that there is an interaction from society that contributes to how an inequality is formed between categories in society. The inequality can be seen as socially constructed as stigmatization that may exist for certain categories. A criminal past entails many disadvantages in society in the sense of being able to be reintegrated, but there are also advantages that cannot be left out. Criminals receive a stigma, while stigmatization creates and reproduces criminals.
