Artrospatienters upplevda stöd för hälsorelaterad beteendeförändring genom digital fysioterapi : En kvalitativ intervjustudie
Sammanfattning: Background: An aging population and longer heath care waiting times has led to the emerging of digital heath care options on the market. Which support for behavioral change patients has experienced has however not been researched at great lengths. Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate which support for behavioral change osteoarthritis patients are experiencing using digitally based physiotherapy treatment. Method: This is a qualitative interview study with an inductive approach. Six informants participated in the study where a semi structured interview guide was used and the data that was extracted from the interviews was analyzed with a qualitative content analysis. Result: The study resulted in 17 subcategories which then was divided into 4 main categories. The main categories were: The physiotherapist’s work, the functions of the application, unsatisfying outcome and a knowledge enhancing work approach. Conclusions: The result indicates that the informants experienced that the digital platform’s functions as well as the physiotherapist via the digital platform has been able to offer support regarding establishing and sustaining physical activity and exercise. Besides practical reasons that supports behavioral change, prompts/cues, increase in self-efficacy and reinforcement could be observed as contributing factors. It has been observed that the informants have experienced support in multiple areas regarding health related behavioral change via this digital platform.
