Sammanfattning: We are investigating if the educational material used in upper secondary school contains any of the perspectives, such as: ethnic-, environmental-, international-, and historical perspectives that the Swedish curriculum requires. The educational material that this study use in its investigation are digital textbooks, also called Collaborative digital textbooks (cDTB), from Digilär and focus on the two courses English 5 and Social science 1b. We are analysing how the perspectives are dissolved into the syllabus of the subjects and the specific courses. This to find out what effect the curriculum has on the individual courses in Digilär. The method used are a combination of quantitative content analysis and qualitative analysis.The result shows that it is important for the teacher to add extra material outside from the digital textbooks, in that case the students will be provided with all educational material required of the syllabus in English 5 and Social science 1b.
