Sammanfattning: The purpose of the study is to investigate how the implementation of local plans produced by the developer have worked in the investigated municipalities. The study shows that there is no major difference in costs, time or quality in between a local plan produced by the developer or the municipality. The study shows that a local plan produced by the developer is easier to implement then a plan produced by the municipality. There are multiple benefits with the method like shorter project time, potential of a higher project revenue and the fact that more local plans are produced within in the municipality. The method is relatively new and still full of early errors. There is room for improvement and potentiation. These can be reached by a clearer communication, responsibility distribution and routines.
