Mikrosimulering av trafik i samband med utbyggnation- Lindbergsvägen, Södra Trönninge, Varberg

Sammanfattning: The area of Södra Trönninge is planned to be extended with approximately 900 housing. With all kinds of constructions a research about possible consequences has to be made. With a higher number of inhabitants in an area a higher amount of traffic is to be expected. Even with a higher amount of traffic, accessibility is important. Assessment about the consequences is not always easy when it comes to forecast future traffic. A traffic simulation or a forecast about traffic can be a complement to one another or work alone to show important information about what to expect in the future. Neither of them shows the exact consequences of a construction but can give some guidelines about what to avoid to minimise future problems. The traffic flows from ÅF's report about traffic flows and speed limits are the foundation of my microsimulation. Observations of three places has been made to analyse the amount of traffic in the area today as well as where they are heading. My results from the microsimulation program VISSIM doesn't show any extended travel times or a problematic que increase in the area of the construction.
