Brandteknisk riskvärdering av Oscarsteatern i Stockholm

Sammanfattning: This report is the result of a fire safety evaluation of the Oscars Theatre (Oscarsteatern) in Stockholm, Sweden. The report was written as a project by students at the Fire Protection Engineering program at Lund University. During the evaluation the main focus was to look at the safety for visitors of the theatre during a fire and no concern has been taken about environmental or economic damages. The Oscars Theatre has almost 1000 seats and was built in the year of 1906. The goal of the report has been to make sure that all visitors in the theatre could evacuate safely without any harm during an eventual fire incident. In the report analytical calculations has been used to assess the fire safety of the building. Programs such as Fire Dynamics Simulator, Simulex, Detact-T2 and @RISK have been used together with qualitative assessments to acquire the final result. When the valuation of the current fire protection of the building was done, suggestions to improve the safety was provided and validated.
