Sammanfattning: Human resource management unemployment after completed studies is worryingly high. The labor market for newly graduated human resource management students is considered to be extra tough as employers seek staff with previous work experience. Hence, employability in this area has attracted increasing attention. Thus, when experience is often set as a requirement in a job, it becomes interesting how employers argue about employability when practical occupational experience is lacking. Swedish employers are considered cautious about hiring candidates who do not meet the formal requirement as well as the requirement of experience. This is because recruitment is expensive for organizations and therefore they do not dare to hire candidates who can not assess past performance, so it becomes important to highlight the employability of newly graduated staff and how employability can be developed.
