Sammanfattning: The study presents clear changes in the tasks in relation to the introduction of digitalization. The bookkeeping has evolved into a digitalized work approach that has helped the accountant to be able to perform a more efficient work with higher quality. The more experienced respondents mention customer relations as a change, they mention how it has changed from having personal meetings with the customers to communicating by email and video calls. The accountant lifts up multiple opportunities and challenges which followed digitalization. As previously mentioned, a change in customer relations is also brought up as a challenge for the more experienced respondents, because they believe it is important to build a strong relationship with customers.  Digitalization has removed the opportunity to create this relationship with the customers. On the other hand the younger respondents with less experience that did not have the opportunity to work alongside customers before the digitalization see this as something positive, because it streamlines the work and spares time for other tasks to work with according to the respondents. As a conclusion, the respondents highlight both opportunities and challenges that come with digitalization. Most of the answers match among the respondents, despite this, there still is dissenting opinions among the respondents.
