Energieffektivisering, en utvärdering : Undersökning och analys av energieffektivisering på Erikslunds förskola
Sammanfattning: This report regards evaluating the energy and indoor climate of a pre-school located in Erikslund, Sweden which has undergone several measurers to achieve lower energy usage. The project was done on the orders of the governing municipality of Västerås and tasked to a consulting company for simulating the effects of performing these measures for lowering energy need. The municipal has together with the parliament sat goals to reach in 2020 to reduce the total energy usage by 20 %. The project had earlier installed a total of seven measures (such as new air handling unit, new lightings, adding ceiling insulation) related to energy efficiency was implemented and some ancillary construction of ventilation room. The main purposes for the study are first to analyze the energy and economical calculations and estimations done by the consulting company for the pre-school in the project stage. Then an energy mapping was done by this study to compare the earlier calculations for both the energy and economical part. The results are compared with the real values of both energy and economically data handed by Västerås stad. The theoretically energy usage calculated by the consulting company was before the measures 178 MWh/year to 65 MWh/year after. The energy mapping of this report shows before the measures 216 MWh/year to 108 MWh/year after. To compare with the real energy usage that before was 200 MWh/year, and 113,5 MWh/year after. The total cost of the project summed up to approximately $311K, which is 40 % higher than first estimated by the consulting company. The climate impact of the greenhouse gas CO2 was reduced with 12 ton yearly. Due to complications in the energy follow-up for both heat and electricity there is in the appendix attach instructional guide for Västerås stad to use in future projects regarding energy efficiencies but also evaluating the measures impact on the overall energy usage of the pre-school. The produced guide holds information regarding necessary “setup” for each type of energy efficiency measure making it possible for future evaluation (via measured data).
