Sammanfattning: This study uses a survey experimental approach in order to quantify concerns for relative position in rural and urban Uganda along the dimensions of income, education and weddings. Positionality was found to be overall low. Income and education are more positional among urban dwellers and weddings were on average twice as positional as income and education. The rural-urban differences are found to be partly due to differences in wealth.
