Sammanfattning: This study reviews outdoor educational activity, its contents and qualities, whose basis rests on reform educators as Dewey and Freire. These pedagogues’ methodology is based on the interaction between theory and practice, reflection and action. It appears from previous research that: Nature has beneficial effects on human health; Physical activity has positive effects on schoolchildren's health and on their test scores in mathematics and swedish. Training in outdoor education for teachers has contributed to outdoor education having become part of elementary schools´ activities. The purpose of this study is to find out to what extent a School of Nature is useful for three primary school teachers´ activities. Empirics was conducted using qualitative interviews. The research questions are: what purpose does primary schools teachers have for making use of Nature School in their activities? What purpose do the teachers in the Nature School have for their activities? The results of the study show that the primary school teachers perceive Nature School's activities as an important support and complement to their school activities. The results also show that the Nature School´s activity provides students with new opportunities to grow as individuals both socially, emotionally, and cognitive. By the results of the study it can be concluded that the activities of Nature School are in great demand, and contribute to teachers' knowledge by being a form of training. This means that Nature school contributes with important skills for these elementary schools´ activities. There is a greater demand of Nature school´s activity than what today can be met. Nature school contributes to the interviewed primary school teachers meet regulatory documents Lpo 94, particularly by Nature School combines theory, practice, reflection and action in their activities. Further research opportunities would be to consider young people's worlds, their thoughts and ideas about what they perceive as a challenge in terms of outdoor education.
