Kartläggning av brandskyddsarbete i kulturskyddade kyrkor

Detta är en Kandidat-uppsats från Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Brandteknik

Sammanfattning: Sweden holds the cultural value of its churches in a very high regard in comparison to other European countries. Despite being an invaluable cultural treasure conflicts do occasionally emerge between those who strive for preserving the cultural value and those who are charged with establishing fire safety in society. This study aims to investigate how different actors work with the fire safety regulation of culturally preserved churches as well as analyse possible limitations in the bridge between cultural heritage and fire protection. The study consists of a literature study, an interview survey followed by an analysis. The study clarifies the difficulties existing in achieving sufficient fire safety without compromising the value of the cultural heritage of Swedish churches. Furthermore, the results primarily show the demand of a communal acceptance among the concerned actors and the urge for the possibility of improved consultation and earlier cooperation in the event of a disagreement.
