Sammanfattning: The silver refining process is a extracting of pure silver which happen in large tanks filled with silver nitrate electrolyte solution. In each tank there are 6 Doré anodes, where they are placed in anode bag. During the refining process, the remaining products are gold, palladium and platinum which are formed to a kind of sludge in the anode bags. Outotec Sweden AB (Outotec) therefore wanted a structure that can clean the anode bags and at the same time save the sludge. To get a good solution that needs to start with understanding of the silver refining process and meetings with customers and engineers from Outotec Sweden AB. Thereafter, two concepts based on the requirements specification are processed and presented, in order to clarify the objective. With the help of CAD programs, one concept is then constructed into a strong, reasonable and simple prototype. Tensions and deflections are also calculated to confirm the model's strength and thus ensure that the design will hold for the load. Risk analysis is also carried out to develop the prototype and facilitate the production and development process.
