En muslimsk Darth Vader? -En studie om sex muslimska kvinnors erfarenheter av bemötandet i det svenska samhället på grund av sin religiösa klädsel

Sammanfattning: The study is about six Muslim women’s experiences of how they are responded to due to their religious attire in the Swedish society. Half of the women are raised in muslim families whilst the other half are Swedish converts. I will also see if there are similarities or differences of their answers from three questions in the semi structured interviews. Many of the women answered the questions similarly but when it came to how they are responded to there was a difference, two of the converts has been physically attacked whilst the other women has just received verbal attacks or gazings. The women belong in the outgroup but for some of the converts the belonging is shifting between the outgroup as muslims and the ingroup as ethnic Swedes.
