Brandteknisk riskvärdering av Berns i Stockholm

Sammanfattning: The main purpose of this report is to evaluate the fire safety situation in Berns, which is a nightclub and hotel in central Stockholm. A risk analysis is made where the three most probable scenarios with the highest impact are picked out for further assay. With simulations in FDS and CFAST the time until untenable conditions occur is calculated. The results from the simulations are compared to results from simulations in Simulex, which give the time until evacuation is completed. If the difference between these is negative measures are taken until the difference is no longer below zero. The measures that are suggested are controlled by hand calculations and new simulations. The conclusion is that the evacuation safety situation in Berns is not satisfying without measures in two out of three scenarios. Different measures are considered and proposed to provide improvement until the situation is acceptable.
