Styrningen av förskolan : En fallstudie ur de anställdas perspektiv

Sammanfattning: This study sets out to explore how pre-school personnel in Sweden are affected by the increased focus on education and the increased use of management by documents. Focus is put on professional status and the study also sets out to examine how the personnel are affected by working under three different steering logics - the bureaucratic logic, the market logic and the professional logic - and how these logics coexist within the preschool. A bottom up perspective is used and the study builds on semi-structured interviews with five people working in different positions at a pre-school. The study shows that all the three steering logics are present at the pre-school and that they, for the most part, does not get into conflict with each other. There seems to be no inherent conflict between most of the steering documents and the profession. Instead, it seems to be the shortage of resources that gives rise to conflict between the steering logics.
