Arbetsmotivation bland bemanningsanställda - En jämförande studie mellan anställningsformerna tillsvidare- och tidsbegränsade arbetare

Sammanfattning: The purpose of this study was to gain more knowledge regarding differences in intrinsic and extrinsic motivation among two groups of Swedish agency workers: Permanent and temporary employees. The Swedish agency business can be considered somewhat extraordinary compared to the rest of the world. Therefore it has not been studied to a great extent. This study was set out to fill the existing knowledge gap by comparing the two groups through a survey in two Swedish agency firms. The finding of the results revealed a significant difference among the two groups on intrinsic motivation, while no significant difference was found on the external motivation. The results showed that permanent agency workers scored higher than temporary agency workers on intrinsic motivation. This implied that intrinsic motivation was valued higher by permanent than by temporary agency workers within the Swedish agency business.
