Ny svensk modell för nyanlända svenskar?

Detta är en Kandidat-uppsats från Lunds universitet/Statsvetenskapliga institutionen

Sammanfattning: The Swedish Model is a somewhat vague concept that can mean many things, depending on who you ask. But usually it is characterized by the great deal of autonomy the labour market organizations enjoy. Traditionally, the unions and the employer associations in question are responsible for the functioning of the labour market (e.g. the wage formation), with none or very little involvement from the state. However, in recent times, questions have been raised about the model’s raison d'être, and whether it is still relevant in today’s political landscape. Not least the recent years large influx of refugees and migrants have put the model to the test. Much of the debate today is focused on the so called ‘simple jobs’ (i.e. lowskilled jobs) and whether Sweden needs to introduce a minimum wage. This thesis aims at investigating how the two largest and historically most important organizations (Landsorganisationen and Svenskt Näringsliv) see the problem(s) with the labour market today, using Carol Bacchi’s discursive “What’s the problem represented to be”-analysis.
