Sammanfattning: This text aims at describing an archaeology of relations. Methodologically many approaches are being tested, through a multiple-angled discourse analysis. Relational archaeology studies the interactive middlegrounds in between two actors, or between smaller components that exist within one single actor. What is of relevance here is then how to define and outline the »actor«. This thesis demands that definition to be as open as possible. The thesis is driven by following three questions; "what is a possible archaeology of relations?", "how can knowledge of a place be reached - methodologically conventional as unconventional?" and "how can knowledge of a place be articulated - methodologically conventional as unconventional?" Relational archaeology is reached by a case study about Hög; a stone age megalithic grave and a place situated in southwestern Scania in Kävlinge parish, southern Sweden. In search for understanding of these relations I present three different, yet relatable and connected approaches as the main study of the text. 1. An exploration of an artistic perspective, and the usage of art in science 2. A life-story, biography of a place; based on litterature about Hög, about theoretical framework and research history of »life-stories«. Also through material studies, both by myself and by people before me. 3. Two interviews with the owner of the land where the megalith is located, and with involved workers at the County Administrative Board in Skåne. Theoretically the I is given space in the text - due to the fact that the I is the entity that selects every part, its character(s) and aims. The I also becomes its own part of the biography, and is therefore of great importance to reveal, or shed light upon, what may also be called a reflexive workflow in thought.
