Sammanfattning: Since the end of the pandemic companies and organizations are asking themselves how to conduct business in the future. Many of them reaches conclusion that a hybrid work model is the way to go forward. To successfully manage this working model companies may face different types of challenges. These can include social challenges linked to onboarding new colleagues and how to maintain high productivity in the hybrid work organization. Separate studies have been done about project organization and hybrid work. This case study strives to fill the gap between these two in an approach to show how well suited or not hybrid work is, specifically for employees in project organizations. To investigate the subject further this case study takes a closer look at a project organization in Sweden working in the housing industry. A total of nine interviews have been conducted paired with several studies on project organization and hybrid work. Our findings shows that employees working in hybrid work form enjoys the high level of flexibility that it provides both professionally and privately. We have also identified several factors that may affect hybrid work in project organizations. These factors may include employee technical knowledge, level of employee extroversion contra introversion and level of technical basis available in the organization. We conclude that the office space value will change and what is demanded by the office is likely to change over time. In addition, it is in some industries expected by the employer to be able to offer hybrid work to its employees.
