Transport av explosivt gods - Känner vi till riskerna?

Detta är en Master-uppsats från Lunds universitet/Riskhantering (CI); Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Riskhantering och Samhällssäkerhet

Sammanfattning: The transport of dangerous goods is associated with the risk of accidents with potentially severe consequences. Therefore, risk analyses are performed before allowing for the exploitation of land near roads designated for the transportation of such goods. Event tree analysis is a common tool for the quantification of accident scenarios regarding probabilities of such events. Previous work done at the Division of Risk management and Societal Safety at Lund University has shown a great variation in the various assumptions and quantification of parameters when performing event tree analysis. Therefore, this work aims at, through a literature study, investigate what knowledge is known about the risks associated with the transport of explosive goods. Furthermore, the goal is to present recommendations when performing such event tree analyses from the information provided by the study. From the study it is concluded that accident scenarios involving vehicle fire seems to be the most critical ones when it comes to the transport of explosives. In addition, one main conclusion is that there is a need for further work within the field. This would allow for a further reduction of the uncertainties associated with risk analyses regarding the transportation of dangerous goods, including explosives.
