Sammanfattning: What kind of equipment is lacking today for people working in extremely cold climates? The body reacts strongly to cold and direct exposure to low temperatures can have devastating consequences. Exposure to low temperatures is more common in the Nordic countries in southern parts of Europe, especially during outdoor work during the winter. Users of work clothing today demand products that can facilitate the working day and which have easy user- friendliness. The market's newest products focus on keeping people warm by isolating the heat that the body produces itself. Together with the company Taiga, the project team saw an opportunity to make a product that provides heat to the user. The project team has checked what the users think of this and has noticed that the thick garments and layers that are needed that can sometimes become inflexible. This can in some cases hinder physical activity and create problems when the user feels it is too hot or too cold. The goal of the project was to develop a heating system that is optimized for active work. The product should be able to provide the user with heat supply based on their own needs. The product must satisfy basic user-friendliness and at the same time function on the basis of a specification of requirements that the project group has developed. The project has resulted in a product with a strong market that the company Taiga will have the opportunity to continue working with and adapt further to their own clothing collection.
