Kvinnors förtroende för rättsväsendet i samband med sexualbrott

Detta är en Kandidat-uppsats från Lunds universitet/Socialhögskolan

Sammanfattning: This bachelor thesis addresses women's trust in the Swedish judicial system in regard to sexual offences with the ultimate aim of detecting any differences in trust between the age groups of 18-21, 22-25 and 26-29 years old as well as district and city location and size. The outset for this was an internet-based survey, which was shared in two of the biggest Swedish Facebook groups for women. In total, 264 women responded. The results showed that there was no difference in trust to the judicial system and, furthermore, age group, region, and the city size did not have an impact on trust either. Comparing this result to previous research, a notable difference in the conclusions is apparent. The uneven distribution of women in each group and the small amount of women who participated in our survey were ultimately this thesis's shortcoming. Further research into this topic with larger sample sizes is imperative to understanding such a complex and crucial aspect of our judicial system.
