Sammanfattning: Ever since the Sweden Democrats was founded debates regarding the party's ideological affiliation has been debated amongst political scientists. Swedish politicians, journalists and scientists have called the Sweden Democrats a radical right-wing, fascist and populist par This makes it interesting to further investigate what ideological association the party should identify itself with since the Sweden Democrats claims to be a social conservative party with a nationalist ethos. Furthermore the purpose of this study is to examine if the party has fascist ideological fundamentals in its recent policy program through the use of the method idea analysis and through the use of creating an ideal type of the fascist ideology.
