   Sammanfattning : Getter i Sverige har stora problem med sönderslitna öron, infektioner och sårskador som orsakats av den obligatoriska öronmärkningen. Tidigare forskning har visat att alternativa märkningsmetoder exempelvis chipmärkning i nätmagen, ankelband (med eller utan chip) och chipmärkning under hud kan vara bättre märkningar, inte bara för getter utan även för andra djurslag.
