6. Robust Localization of Research Concept Vehicle (RCV) in Large Scale Environment
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Autonomous vehicles in the recent era are robust vehicles that have the capability to drive themselves without human involvement using sensors and Simultaneous Localization and Mapping algorithms, which helps the vehicle gain an understanding of its environment while driving with the help of laser scanners (Velodyne), IMU and GPS to collect data and solidify the foundation for locating itself in an unknown environment. Various methods were studied and have been tested for increasing the efficiency of registration and optimization over the years but the implementation of the NDT library for mapping and localization have been found to be fast and more accurate as compared to conventional methods. 7. Continuous localization in indoor shifting environment
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Fasta tillståndets elektronikSammanfattning : In this Master Thesis different approaches to mobile localization within construction environments are investigated. At first an overview of different sensors commonly used within localization is presented together with different map representations and a system consisting of a laser scanner and wheel encoders is chosen. 8. Robot Localization in Dynamic Environments, Robotlokalisering i dynamiska miljöer
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för datavetenskap och kommunikation (CSC)Sammanfattning : In recent decades research and development in the field of robotics has been rapidly growing. A result of this growth can be seen in the wide spread increase of the use of robots in industry. However, the field of robotics does not only consist of robots for industrial factory automation. 9. Elektronlokalisering och spinpolarisation i en kvantcirkel
Master-uppsats, Institutionen för fysik, kemi och biologiSammanfattning : Localization and magnetic properties of electrons in a thin, cyclic quasi one-dimensional GaAs wire with a central potential barrier were studied using the Hartree-Fock and LSDA (Local Spin Density Approximation, exchange only) and compared to more time consuming Quantum Monte-Carlo calculations. Within LSDA, evidence of true localization was found as well as evidence for the existence of both ferromagnetic as well as anti-ferromagnetic states. LÄS MER
