Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för kulturvetenskaper (KV)Sammanfattning : This study is based on interviews and aims to shed some light upon the teaching of history in the swedish upper secondary school. Is it possible for the female pupils, to identify themself with the way it's presented? There's been different studies regarding how women are portrayed in the history books, are they there at all or are they forgotten? I interviewed eight female pupils to find out if they could indentify themself with the subject, and if not, what could we do as teacher to make it more relevant for them and easier to indentify themself with the subject? The results shows that most of them can't indentify themself with the subject, feeling that it's a mans world - nothing to do with them. LÄS MER
2. Religionsfrihet i den svenska skolan : En kvalitativ undersökning om kristna elevers möjligheter att utöva sin tro i skolan
Kandidat-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för kulturvetenskaper (KV)Sammanfattning : The purpose of this essay is to see if the upper secondary school in Sweden meets the acquirements of freedom of religion, in this particular study I focused on the Christian pupils at the school. Could it be that the Christian pupils feel that the school won’t accept them because the school is a secularized institution? Or do they feel that the school encourage their right to practice their religion at school? I interviewed six pupils at two different schools to find out about their experience with the school and the opportunity to practice their religion. LÄS MER
3. Från Balkan till Sverige : Ungdomars indentitet och historia
Kandidat-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för kulturvetenskaper (KV)Sammanfattning : The purpose of this essay is to shed some light upon the children who grew up in Sweden after their parents fled the war in former Yugoslavia. Did the parents spread their own opinions about the other ethnicities which they fought against in the war to the children, even though they live in a new country? And if so, was it an act of patriotism for the country they once lived in and who was to blame for the war? Did the children who grew up in Sweden share the same attitudes as their parents? To find out about this we used interviews with four people, all with heritage from former Yugoslavia, Bosnia and Croatia. LÄS MER
