Analys och jämförelse av 24 skolbränder med hjälp av säkerhetsfunktioner

Detta är en Kandidat-uppsats från Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Brandteknik

Sammanfattning: When investigating an accident, the HTO-perspective (Human, Technology, Organization) is helpful to show the whole picture. The method Safety Function Analysis allows the safety functions (barriers) to be identified and categorized according to the responsible actors, period of time and type of subjects. The purpose of the report is to evaluate the use of Safety Function Analysis for fire investigations of school fires and as a method for meta analysis of several fire investigations of school fires to achieve comparable data. The report results in a list of 104 safety functions, to be used in preventive work, risk analysis and in investigations of school fires. It was a challenge to evaluate the effectiveness of the safety functions, in cases when the performance was not a clear case of whether it worked or not. To be able to use the statistics for meta analysis, it is important that the investigators at the fire departments use and assess all of the listed safety functions for every investigation of school fires. The method has potential to be used with other types of accidents as well.
