1. Evaluation of Deep Q-Learning Applied to City Environment Autonomous Driving
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Signaler och systemSammanfattning : This project’s goal was to assess both the challenges of implementing the Deep Q-Learning algorithm to create an autonomous car in the CARLA simulator, and the driving performance of the resulting model. An agent was trained to follow waypoints based on two main approaches. LÄS MER
2. Antarctic Subglacial Lakes as Environmental Analogues for Possible Hidden Biospheres on the Moons Europa and Enceladus
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaperSammanfattning : The evolving science of astrobiology for the search for life beyond Earth has put focus on the possibility of subsurface bodies of liquid water beneath the surface of icy moons within our Solar System. Specifically, the Jovian moon of Europa and the Saturnian moon of Enceladus show telling characteristics of endogenous heating through their complex tidal resonances with their parent planets – suggesting the presence of oceans of liquid water and therefore a potential for astrobiology. 3.
4. An evaluation of tools for verifying non-functional requirements for cloud deployed applications.
Master-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för datavetenskapSammanfattning : Evaluating non-functional requirements is a crucial part of distributed systems. As cloud deployed systems are continuously developed, the quality of the system must be verified for every iteration. LÄS MER
5. Short-horizon Prediction of Indoor Temperature using Low-Order Thermal Networks : A case study of thermal models for heat-system control applications
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Optimizing and controlling the heating systems in buildings is one way to decrease their load on the power grid, as well as introduce load flexibility to be used in Demand Response (DR) applications. A requirement in occupied buildings is that the thermal comfort of the residents is guaranteed, making the optimization of heating systems a constrained problem with respect to indoor temperature.
