  1. 1. Techno-Economic Analysis of Dye Separation in Textile Recycling

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Teknisk vattenresurslära

    Författare :David Lundberg; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Dye; Membrane filtration; Electrocoagulation; Techno-economic analysis; Pre-feasibility study; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : This study determines the technical and economic feasibility of separating dye from a process filtrate in industrial textile recycling using electrocoagulation or sequences of membrane filtration with microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis. The lower requirements for treating this stream, compared to previously researched dyehouse effluents, left treatments not good enough for dyehouses viable for this process filtrate. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Automatiserade sorteringsprocesser för textilavfall : En studie av återvinningseffektivitet och resursflöden

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Produktionsutveckling

    Författare :Amanda Gren; [2023]
    Nyckelord :textile waste; automated sorting; recycling; circular economy; climate impact; sustainable consumption and production; textilavfall; automatiserad sortering; återvinning; cirkulär ekonomi; klimatpåverkan; hållbar konsumtion och produktion;

    Sammanfattning : Textilkonsumtion i världen har ökat drastiskt under de senaste decennierna, vilket också syns i övergången till att fast fashion nu dominerar textilindustrin. Även i Sverige har konsumtionen ökat, vilket bidrar till att textilindustrin skapar allvarliga följder för miljön. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Hellre medveten än hållbar? : En kvalitativ studie kring spårbarhet inom mode- och textilindustrin utifrån svensk samtida konsumtionskultur.

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för modevetenskap

    Författare :Emma Derwinger; Johanna Boman; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Traceability; fashion- and textile industry; sustainability; consumer; production; consumption; CSR; CNSR; political consumption.; Cultural Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : This bachelor’s thesis is written by Emma Derwinger and Johanna Boman (2023), Division of Fashion Science Studies, Lund University. The study titled “Hellre medveten än hållbar?” aims to analyze and understand the use of traceability within the fashion- and textile industry and how relevant this tool of awareness is for consumers today. 4. 4. Digitalisation for sustainability in procurement within the textile value chain : Analysis of artificial intelligence, robotic process automation, and blockchain

    Master-uppsats, Högskolan i Borås/Akademin för textil, teknik och ekonomi

    Författare :Theresa Jentsch; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Sustainable Supply Chain Management; Procurement; Textile Value Chain; Digital Technologies; Blockchain; Artificial Intelligence; Robotic Process Automation; Socio-Technical System Theory;

    Sammanfattning : Background/ Problem/Purpose: Sustainability and Digitalisation are two buzzwords nowadays. The textile value chain is one of the most criticised value chains with respects to ecological as well as social sustainability. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Attaining Product Level Forward Traceability for Textile & Fashion : Using Block Chain based Traceability Solutions

    Master-uppsats, Högskolan i Borås/Akademin för textil, teknik och ekonomi

    Författare :Muhammad Hassan Khalid; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Forward traceability; Backward traceability; Granularity; Block chain technology; Traceability technologies; Customer privacy;

    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this thesis is to explore how to enable forward traceability of textile and fashion products at product level, using BC based traceability solutions. The study finds that within TC industry, forward traceability using available technologies (RFIDs, NFCs, QR codes ) is technically possible, however there could be impending regulatory, legal, technical implications of using these technologies.
